MIA Room Owner Policy

We generally make no changes to citizen owned rooms but we will help another citizen make changes if:

1) You can show that the room is integral to your role playing group or maintained for the benefit of the site.

2) The owner is MIA for a considerable period of time, usually months.

3) The room is a public room in which no private data is held.

If these things are true, then we may grant a trustworthy individual the designer role.

For assistance, send a msg to seph and explain the situation. We need the room name, why you need something changed, and generally the issues being caused.

We will then consider this, try to find out what is happening with the room owner, and if the situation calls for it, we will make provisions so the room can be changed.

If the above criteria is not met, or there are other reasons why we believe it is not something we can do, then we will decline the request.

How to Opt-Out

If you have a room that meets the first criteria above, and you do not want your room to be maintained under the above, or any circumstances, display your desire in the room that you don't want touched. It could be in a post, under chat box, in the room page, or anywhere else it can be seen.

It must be displayed in the room, so that users of the room know what to expect if the room owner goes MIA.

We also visit rooms before we take actions, and seeing it will stop us from acting on the request, as well as referring people to it if they have questions.

Example of Room Notice

This is an example of something that could be posted to ensure the room is not touched by site administration.
This is a personal room and site administration is not responsible for changing or helping to change its configuration in any way.
